AI Readiness Assessment for Essex SMEs

This free assessment helps you understand how ready your business is to adopt AI, and what to do first. It takes about two minutes. What the assessment covers

The score is built from five areas that, in our experience with Essex businesses, decide whether AI delivers value quickly or stalls.

  • Process and admin: how much repetitive, rules-based work could be automated.
  • Data and systems: whether your business information is organised and easy to access.
  • Team and skills: how confidently your team already uses AI tools and adopts new software.
  • Customer interactions: the volume of repetitive enquiries, quotes, bookings and missed calls.
  • Governance and ownership: your confidence on UK GDPR when using AI, and who would own adoption.

How to read your result

Exploring (0 to 40): the foundations are not all in place yet. The lowest-risk start is a team AI training session and one small automation, rather than a large project.
